what are games that are replayable? i know action games once you beat em it has to be a good gaming experience to play again since the story will be the same. RPG... they are sort of the same as action games... well the ones for ps2 anyways. so what games out there are really good for replaying?

Variety is a good counter to replayability. I know thats not what you are asking for but inevitably every game gets boring. Even MMORPG's. Get some games from every genre and when you get bored of something play something else entirely. Sports, fighting, racing, rpg, shooters and others..

well someone said pokemon up top and that is exactly a good example. back when i was into pokemon i could paly the games over and overa gain becuase there were over 250 to use inorder to beat the game so you can always have a different party. there is nothing like that for ps2... well there are xmen legends and marvel ultimate alliance which i got but those games i think need 4 players to ahve lots of fun in it

it seems the games with the best replay is rpg but... i get bored of ffx because it just wierd. you cant go back to visit places to properly train and once you get to ap oint monsters are so hard and you wished you didnt move on through the game so you could train. ff x-2 was just a wierd ass game. ffxii makes me feel like a lohner cuz its like playing an mmorpg game by yourself with the way you fight. if it was random turn base and still ahve the ability to go back to town it would suit me better i think. i been looking at dragonquest and suikoden... are they good rpgs hwere you can go back to an earlier area to train?

Unless you're in a specific spot (like right after a cutscene where the bridge you just crossed got destroyed) RPGs generally have very forgiving maps and difficulties. You can almost always go back and train harder before going forward. As for the replayability factor, look for games with either multiple endings or multiple storylines. That way, you can restart the game and not play it exactly the same! I'm thinking Shin Megami Tensei : Nocturne (or Lucifer's Call if you're in the Old Country or across the Pond). That game has a tonne of replay value and it's loooooong... but it's hard to find. You probably know someone that knows someone that knows someone that's seen one in a store somewhere (talking real people here, not Internet avatars... I've got the game!) Good hunting!

I usually replay games but never finish it twice. I always get bored in the middle of my 2nd run. MGS1 and MGS3 are the only games I finished more than once.

God of War, i replayed it about 3 times before i decided to move on to another game finally.

Rule of Rose, i replayed that 4-5 times. New costumes to get, you pick up on parts of the story you didnt notice before. plus the game had awesome music XD
