Resident Evil 4 or Tekken 5 ?

Can't decide what game i should buy. I really want to buy something which allowes me to play with my friend(s) (2 player option -> tekken) and still has a good single-player (if you may call it that -> resident evil 4).

Both games aren't that expensive but perhaps i should wait for you guys to comment it.

That's depends... if you can gather a bunch of friends anytime you can play Tekken 5 for a long time, in the other hand RE4 is one of the best action games ever...

Get both , I own both and they're both amazing ...... GET BOTH

resident evil 4 is overrated but get it regardless.

it wasn't scary at all. except the sound when u crank it up and the chainsaw guys, besides that it wasn't scary AT ALL.

 tekken 5 is excellent and it does get old fast.

 my recommendation is to get both and enjoy both since both are really cheap now.

Both games are really great.  If I were you I would try to buy both.  But I were to choose I would buy Resident Evil 4, because that game is really good.  Its hard to not play this game when you are a gamer.  This game is that great.  The same goes for Tekken 5, but the problem with that game is that it a lot more fun when playing with your friends.  Its really boring playing by yourself.  So yeah I would recommend Resident Evil 4.

I did like tekken 3 alot. Just that arcade feeling. Tekken was y first game on the ps1 so it brings alot of memories back.

Resident evil 1 was just great (at the age of 10) so i guessed that resident evil 4 is good.

Other suggestions in the genre are welcome (some already gave a few, thnx).

how is it borring? Its best fighting game on ps2, in technicality second only to vf 4. It DOES have a story, but a separate one for each character. It details what woud happen if each one would win. You obviously know nothing about a good fighting game, cause tekken and SC 3 is the best you can find on ps2... but I guess you only play final fantasy and dont realy know about fighting games... Get tekken, I have both games, but I am just a fighting game kinda guy... Also try Budokai 3 it kills.

you should get both, but if you are only going to get one then get RE4 and get Tekken 5 some other time.

Tekken is a VERY good game, but nothing can beat Resident Evil 4.
After you beat the game theres alot of extra things to do, inculding the challenge that you can make to beat every enemy and boss with a knife. Except a few bosses that you can't reach.

RE4 you will play once, then probably never touch it.

Tekken 5 you will play for years to come.  Fantastic extras it has also.
