When it comes to RPG's I am big on the battle system so what kind is it ? Is it an action RPG ( kindom heartsish) or like FF12 or turn based ? I want to know before I buy it. Thanks
IGN said it was the Kingdom Hearts battle system done better than KH. I haven't played KH, but Rogue Galaxies system is basically a modified real-time action-RPG styled system. There are 3 party members you can switch between, you can pick enemies up and throw them, you have a melee and a projectile attack, you can jump and block -- all in real time. There are time based and other super attacks that you select from a pull down menue, which pauses the action. Also, leveling your weapons up is more important than leveling up your character. And there is a special abilities chart that is comparable to the license board of FF12, but you open it up with rare items rather than points. Hope that helps :)

I could see the comparison -- I used to own Devil Summoner and I would say that Rogue Galaxy is better. Just my opinion :)

I bought it a couple of days ago. From what I've played so far, the battle system is pretty good. It's like Kingdom Hearts, but the action isn't as fast paced as Kingdom's though. I haven't made it that far yet, as I've only beaten the first boss, but this game looks promising. Oh yeah does anyone know if you can jump, and shoot at the same time with Jester later on in the game?
