Spam abilities and buy recharge potions. Desert Wind can kill most enemies in one shot through a good portion of the game. You'll just have to worry about enemies that are shielded or have a weakspot that require you to jump and attack. In those cases, Flash Sword(destroys an enemy's shield status) and any other abilities that raise attack power are helpful.
The only really hard part is Rosencaster Prison after that the game isn't that hardNecroPlant
Agreed, even you didn't spend a decent amount of time back on the previous chapter you're doomed in Rosencaster. If you can clear out all the bounties in the previous though you should be fine. With doing that you should have half of your characters skills or at least be to the needed ones. Once you have Desert Wind lvl 2 and Lightning though the game goes into cruise control. Those 2 and burning strikes for most of the characters, and even many of the bosses can be taken out then.
Rogue Galaxy was easy to beat the hardest boss on there was the Daytron Demon ship It only took a couple times to beat. The Extreme Ghost ship was not fun though I hate that place, but I did beat it.
