Vice City had better radio stations, more likeable characters, and a much better storyline. It was also stylin' with its hip 80's setting. 8)
but ofcourse SA wins in the graphics and features department.

i agree. Tommy Vercetti was so much more badass than CJ. but you can't argue with San Andreas' improvements. the landscape alone was amazing. covering e different giant areas as opposed to Vice City's smaller land coverage (compared to SA)

Which do you think is better? I thought San Andreas was great but Vice just had a better feel to it and lasted me a month or two after I beat it.OnslaughtHE
Vice City, it had a better story (even though a lot of it copied Scarface) and a better feel and you got to know the characters, and you didn't have to eat to be healthy, yeah and a better feel.
i prefered vice city, the storyline, characters and settings were better. in the start of SA, i barely knew what i was doing. i was more in control in VC.
but yes SA is a better game, play-wise. better graphics, sound, vehicles, possibilities and weapons altogether.
both vice city & san andreas r good i prefer san andreas because i thought there is so much more u can do things like the gym, food places, girlfriends n stuff like that.....but i do prefer the vice city story line
San Andreas I'd say. Lot more to do, lot more depth of gameplay, and overall more fun missions. As others have mentioned, though, Vice City had a much better selection when it came to radio.... All of SA's music sounds the same except for the junk on K Rose..... Meanwhile, VC had Maurice Chavez! Not to mention a wide variety of music.
Also, I like the color scheme of VC better. It was sunnier and easier to see. I mean, I can understand where the lighting in SA was setting a mood, but there was a lot of times where I just plain couldn't see anything. Everything would either be pitch black or a soft of burnt orange..... Night time was good, though.

Vice City. It had better characters, city, feel, radio, etc...
I didn't like the "gangster" feel in SA, it's getting ridiculous nowadays.
I like Vice city because it is simpler to play without havin to eat n stuff which is a novelty on SA at first but soon wears very thin.
Combine the size of SA and the simplicity of VC add in the best of both games and voila! GTA perfection! Maybe its back to basics time for Rockstar?

Agreed. At first it was neat but then it just got in the way. I have recently gone back andstarted playing VC all over again and am amazed at how much more fun it is than SA.
