[QUOTE="GreenGoblin2099"] I bought it and sold it after 2 weeks... The game has no replay value despite of whatever most guys say here:
The point of defeating a Colossi is finding the way to do so. After you find it, it's a piece of cake. And as hard mode is the exact same as normal, you won't find any troubles on beating that mode.
Also there's time attack mode. Now, as you already know what to do you won't have any troubles either.
So for me it was: buy, sell...
My advice: it's a rental. Trust me in those 2 days you'll beat it 100%.
Franky-the-bat
Well you obviously haven't played in the hard mode because normal isn't exactly the same as hard.
Do you know in hard mode the Colossi has added weak points, and they are way more aggressive, you also die in one direct hit most of the time.
What's even funnier is how you said time attack mode is easy after you know how to kill them in normal........... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????????.
Have you tried to finish hard time attack? Its so frustratingly hard, not only do they have double the health, more weak points, more aggression, and basically you have to finish it in the same time as the normal time attack, think how this effects other elements of game play, like losing your grip faster, dieing in one hit, you also get set weapons health and grip, so you cant just go increase it by killing colossi in story mode or eating fruit or catching lizards
If you are going to influence someone into buying or rented it or what ever, make sure you know what you are talking about first.I know there's an added vital point in hard mode but it's not like it makes a big difference. Again the whole difficulty about a Colossi is finding the way to defeat it. Added extra vital point or not, this doesn't change. Oh!! and I never got hit by them...Don't tell me you did!!
And I didn't mentioned it before but I completed it 100% in those 2 weeks... I could've done it in less time, but I decided to kill only 2 Colossi per day. The last day of each week, I completed the time attack mode for each difficulty. And BTW, the prize stuff you get for beating time attackare completely useless, because as I see it, they make the game even easier.
Hell!!! I liked the game, but it doesn't change the fact that it's not hard at all, so next time you try to advice someone to buy a game, make sure you've checked your facts right... It's not like I'm the only one saying it's a 10 hrs game. Pfff
