This is one to wait for. I am a fan of SMT and reading about Persona 3 got me so excited I bought Persona 2 (haven't played it yet though). One of the last good releases for the PS2.
good thing that its gonna be like magna carta package with everything inside a huge box. cant wait to play, listen, and read the special book lol

You know the package is something I really don't want. Makes it more difficult to move everything round when I move from place to place, not to mention things can get damaged.
*sighs* yeah it might be released in two days now...but I gotta wait an extra week before I can pick up my copy which bites. Had to just fall in on a bad time between paychecks.
Hmm,I've never played a Persona game(I've never seen any of the entries for sale,were they even released in the US?)but I must say , this one looks really promising. I have played both Odin Sphere and Digital Devil Saga. Digital Devil Saga: Shin Megami Tensei had an excellent story line and graphical representation, but the gameplay felt a little stale-the battles and stuff went soooo slooow, and it had a steep as all getout learning curve.Odin Sphere h ad awesome gameplay in terms of battling,I really enjoyed it-but the going through the same environments and steeple arning curve were similiarly frusterating. How does Persona compare with DDS? Or is it more like Odin Sphere?

Persona is closer in to DDS than Odin Shpere, although part 3 has the social element that affects your persona's stats among other things. There are a couple of reviews on the 'net at RPGamer.com and RPGfan.com. Also, Play magazine reviewed it; I have seen only good scores and read good things so far.
This game had an awfully long title so i ussually jsut skip over it and looked at antoher game, but iread a review one day and i really wanna get this game.
Review is out and it is an 8.5, this game has now officially been added to the must buy list. I read the GameSpot and IGN reviews and both value the game well.
