I was wondering if anyone knew of any other futuristic type shooters on the PS2, similar to Kill Zone or Black. I say future because I'm interested in shooters not consisting of the WW2 thing. So do you know of any great shooters? Thanks!

"Deus Ex: The Conspiracy" - A PC port, showing it's age but still emminently playable and you won't be sorry you did. Sharp controls and excellent story line... one of the few TRULY open games... there has to be about three or four ways to complete each level depending on your taste (stealth vs. blasting) with lots of paths through a level. Gotta be about $3 in the resale shops.

"Project Snowblind" - It was made by the Deus Ex folks, and it's one of the finest future shooters I played on the system. Top-notch graphics, story, animations... it rocks.

"WarHammer 40K: FireWarrior" - Join the T'au forces as they fend off the Space Marines & the forces of Chaos... it was dogged when it came out for "borrowing" from Halo which is a bunch of poop. This game is a blast and has all of the already-stated-above traits.

All of these titles should be super cheap and not that difficult to find. Happy Fraggin' & I hope this helps!

Timesplitters: Future Perfect, Area 51 and Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior are all great futuristic shooters and are definitely worth a try. I sort of wish I hadn't sold Timesplitters and Fire Warrior actually :P, might end up re-buying.

Haven't gotten rid of a game in awhile, but "FireWarrior" was one I loved and never sold back... I've played it through on all difficulty levels. LOVED it. I wonder if anyone still plays online, it was fun yet simple. No headset, just texting.
