theres many short games for me the GOW series(GOW is still really good)the MGS series(I only Rent MGS cause its wayyyy to short)and much much more but the short games that piss me off the most is the MGS series cause its too short and tooo much story so its not that much gameplay for me so thats why i only rent MGS games
Super Mario Bros. 3, u can finish it in just 11 minutes... Although I haven't personally finished it that fast. But it is possible and I bet anyone can beat it in 30 minutes or less after seeing how to beat it in 11 minutes. Man that dude had mad skillz, I mean SMB3 in just 11 minutes.

Isn't there suppose to be a lot of cut-scenes in the MGS series? If u don't like em, u really should consider playing Tenchus or Splinter Cells instead. The story is what makes the MGS series that great. Renting the MGS series? That hurt. Renting games is IMO even worse than loaning games from friends though sometimes even I do so but very very seldom and I really can't remember the last time I loaned a game from a friend. Must've been when the 16-bits were still around. And yes I do have friends, it's just that most of em play games that do not interest me.
nothing is shorter than the SOCOM series.. ofcourse this would matter to those of us who cant connect to the internet so we play the story mode.. but i actually think GOW, POP and MGS are pretty lengthy games.. for socom I'd waste time on purspose because i feel like the game is over by the 5th mission..

For PS2? Most likely this one GAuntlets game I got. Played with a friend and beat it in three and a half hours. I bought it at EB games and broguht back the same day. Needless to say, the employee there was quite surprised.

Yeah, I felt the same with GOW as well, but it's still really awesome. And there are still things to do after completing the game, anyway, so that extends it a bit. I've never played MGS, but I'm considering trying, cos' I'm just looking for some short filler games to eat up some time.
i dont know about ever, but recently id say god of war. i beat it in about 9 hours. actually, it was probably more like 6 or 7 considering the amount of time i was watching tv or doing something else while my game was on. still a great game though.
I'm going with Way of the Samurai. A nice little rental that lasts about two hours. Thankfully, there was some replay value to this game, due to multiple choices leading to several different endings, but you could see all you needed in a day or so, if the game didn't bore you.
