Hey dudes

I got a ps2 slim one about two years ago, Everything was working till i started playing god of war 2. When i just had save a game i turned the ps2 off. But then i when i went to turn back on the next day i didn't see a that light go green or red, what the hell everything connected properly. Any suggestions?

Is it just me or do allot of these threads about hardware failure have one thing in common, GoW?

Perhaps its just a coincidence...

I dont think GoW is the Problem hot114,it really might be a coincidence only,but its to keep someone thinking

make sure to check the cords
and if you can try to swap them out for another set, see if that works
might wanna try another power outlet as well
beyond that, buy a new power supply or call sony

I had this problem once but i fixed it by rotating the plug that goes into the socket... let me try to explain-

The plug that goes into the wall has the two prongs that go into the outlet. Turn the plug 1/2 turnso the plugs are in the opposite holes, then plug it in. That only happened to me once and i fixed it like that. It may work, or it may not. Have a nice day.

Thanks i'll tried that, Speaking of GOD OF WAR 2, I found i wasn't the only one having that problem. Looking up i found out some people had that problem too. But thanks a lot for the advices.

Might this be a PS2 Slim problem? Cause my PS2 Fatty has no problem with GOW. 8)
