soul cailbur 3 memory corruption fixed?

i read that soul calibur 3 can corrupt your memory card files so can anyone tell me if this problem was fixed in the "greatest hits" edition?

I own sc3 and it hasnt corrupted my memory cards.   Has anyone had it happen to them?  Or is it all rumors and stories??   When does it happen??

It was fixed, but there were some addtional load times inserted in the game( inbetween fights when u fight more then 1 char on a same match)
