Why? I ask because both games were always of interest to me, but I figured the 2nd would be the improved one and awaited for it to drop to under 20. The Battlefront original goal was to portray war as a soldier in the Star wars world. The first one pulled this off perfectly with a perfected formula. Yet the second one took a step in a different direction. No longer did it have that shoot everybody in sight intense war feel to it. It revolved around Jedi characters, and overall just felt.....different. But in a bad way.
hmmm..I love both these games, the 2nd one is probably a better game just beccause better story mode and space battles and more maps and stuff, but the first ones multiplayer was better IMO because there were ships on land maps, and the maps were better designed and there wasn't cheap hero crap or award crap
2nd one was much better bigger maps more maps and it felt like if you thought it paid off unlike the 1st one when it felt like a 50/50 chance you could win and jedi were fun to

You can play as a jedi, there were new classes, It had space battles, that cool rank system where you get the rewards like gurdian Endurnce, ETC, it had better graphics, it had a better story mode, and it had better online. The only things i didn't like about 2 that they changed. Was the fact that there was that dumb over heat i was all WTF it's sc-fi there sc-fi guns don't get over heated. And the fact that you had to get points to unlock some classes.
I agree. although the first Battlefront is a classic and one of my favorite games, i still enjoy the advanced battle-characteristics of Battlefront 2. I miss some of the old features, but BF2 is an all-around better game.
i have a split discision. I like the first one more because i would rather be shooting people then have jedi. If i wanted jedi i could go by Episode 3 revenge of the sith. ( witch i do have ) i also like that you can have space battles on land battles. even though the graphics arent better i like them better because you gett he feel of clones. In the second one its like any other shooting game. when you aim on a guy his health is about him, and its very good graphics. The graphics are nice but i like the 1st one's better just because of the feel of the old movies. I love both games and cant choose witch one i would want more.
the second one is way better than the first one cause it has better maps and a new droid, new clone, andnew rebel. and the cool part is that u can control the jedis!!!
