I don't know if it will be dead or not considering the God of War  2 is the last GOOD game coming out from what I hear.
But that dosen't mean the PS2 will be dead for me, I'm still playing and buying games.

Agreed for sure man. FYI there are still plenty of good games to come soon for ps2 after god of war relise, its just that the gow 2 is so hyped about and all.

Poor ignorant little people thinking the PS2 is dead in case anybody heard th PS2 will stop it's game distribution in the year 2008 so please stop talkin smack it's like we're talking about the GC now THAT one is dead.....

I won't stop buying PS2 games until 2009 and I think PS2 will die on that year. There are still a lot of games that I want to play/own.

After GoW2, Manhunt 2 and Freedom Fighters 2 are the next great games to come.

Well there are tons of old games which you could buy......so i don't think the PS2 will die even after the release of GOW 2.

there is no change to die in couple years for sure but many people cant wait to get gow2 and this game makes ps2 much better device in my opinion, i hope there will be more games to keep ps2 alive...

PS2 still has a huge owner base. This will ensure PS2's life for a few more years. It might disappear when Sony starts developing PS4. 8)

ps2 wont beat the wii..and no it wont die either because the ps3 doesnt have a lot of games yet and if i was gonna spend that much id tell ppl to buy the xbox 360 because i have all 3 but out of all i play the ps2 more because ive already beat the wii games i have and gears of war and lost planet were short..
