Street Fighter. Mortal Kombat isn't that good at all. If you like 3D fighters, you'll find a lot more depth in Virtua Fighter, SoulCalibur, and Tekken.
street fighter has fast moves but mortal kombat has weapons,great arena death traps and the best thing about MK is its fatalities,so i go with mortal kombat

My choice goes to Street Fighter, just because it was the first fighter I ever played and loved. Although, MK is cool too, but nothing beats Ken, Ryu, Guile, and the rest.
There isn't any comparison between street fighter and mortal kombat. Nothing will ever match street fighter 2 championship edition's impact on the gaming world.The best 2d fighter ever made and the fighting game that pretty much started it all. As for Mortal Kombat, it was always a step behind street fighter. The only thing that I like about the MK franchise is the fatalities and the graphics but the gameplay isnt there. The characters just dont feel unique and the combos are so similar to perform. Mortal Kombat Deception was pretty good but MK took a step back with MK Armageddon especially with taking out those unique Fatalities and replacing them with the "custom" fatalities. Big mistake. As for Street Fighter, Street Fighter Anniversary is a must have game. And the future is gonna look bright with STREET FIGHTER 4 coming out. Capcom makes great games! Maybe it will compete with Tekken and Virtua Fighter.
Well, I've never liked both that much (Tekken is the best IMO). But, I'll go with Mortal Kombat in terms ofcreativity and characters.But, the gameplay sucks so much in 3Dlol.They should've stayed with 2D.Too badthey can't fuse Tekken's gameplayand MK story/characterstogether.
