The Godfather vs Mafia

Godfather is a good game, but only because of the source material, if it wasn't based off the movie, there wouldn't be much of a reason to play it. Mafia made a good GTA clone and did so with its own setting and story, sure it took a lot of things from a lot of different games and movies, but it did so really well. Just look at the GS scores. Mafia wins.

Edit: Ok, well I played Mafia on the PC which got like a 9.0 and the PS2 port got a 7.0, so maybe Godfather PS2 is better than Mafia PS2, but I wouldn't know. I really enjoyed the PC version, and if you've only played it on PS2, maybe you should check it out on PC.

I like Mafia by far, its realistic, and the story deserves a sequel

Godfather was fun but its a gta mod with 6 cars and a story that was about events that i had already seen and read

Now that Mafia 2 has been confirmed, I looking forward to this game also. Mafia was for me the best pc game I've played. I played just a few pc games, I don't want to spend thousands on graphic cards which get old after half a year. I'm a console gamer (playstation). ;)
