Hi i was just wondering how old does the PS2 get then crashes.
Cause i think mine will soon crash.
My m8 said it was 5 yaers but when crhismas comes my PS2 will be 7 yaers old :?.
So how long do they last for?.
It usually depends on the model. In some cases, certain batches can be more prone to crashing than others. But as long as you take care of your system (i.e. no pepperoni in the disk drive, no overheating, etc.) it should last you another couple of years.xvmdg
lol i do treat it sort off. its air vents is full of crap and its missing the trays PS2 cover thing lol.
The controller is same age and that defently should be dead. It has no upper rubber on the wires ans the vibrator dont work and a giant crack on the left handle.

I'd tell you it's also a lot of random luck.. >_>
All the time it happens that people take good care of their things and then they break for no reason, whereas other people don't pay any attention to it and it lasts forever..
If I was you, I'd get another PS2 for Christmas. 7 years might be pushing it. (At least in my opinion, nothing technical about it, just that maybe someday it dies out of nowhere and you find yourself consoleless. :[ )
