Well i havent played silent hill 3 but silent hill 2....i lituraly s*at my pants while playing that with that pyramid head thing!
However.....forbiden siren...
That wasnt nessesarily scary but the noises the "yambeito" (thats what the monsters are called i think) made, that sort of hollow grown/laugh.! ugh!
also, it was realistic in the sence that they have the advantage since you can't kill them and guns are scarce.
Clock Tower 3 has its share of scares in the sense that you constantly need to run away from the enemies.
On the PS1, some of Koudelka's cutscenes are absolutely freaky (like when Koudelka acts as a medium for a spirit).
someone mentioned god of war... man u desperately need to learn a few points regarding game's genre...
resident evil? I dun get it, ever since the series was introduced, all of my friends say that it's the most scariest game ever, I've played it alone, at midnight, after watching some horror flicks, and still it didn't scares me...
ok so now the topic is about the scariest game on PS2. To actually know about it, u would have to actually define scare and horror. If some people are afraid of zombies and blood etc, then obviously resident evil is for you. If some people are afraid of being abandoned, left alone in a huge environment, then Silent Hill suits your horror taste. But if some people (like me) are afraid of little kids who looks like a corpse singing and dancing cutely in the middle of the night, then Fatal Frame suits you best.
So it's actually narrowed down to the person who played the game. I, for instance, felt something crawling down my spine when I played fatal frame 2...
