thinking about buying dmc3 special edition

I'm very sorry for asking this question on the ps2 board, but the dmc3 board isn't active enough.

My question is about saving in the special editon

-Are there save points like in God of War?Is saving during a mission possible, or can you only save at the beginning and end of missions?

unless you like the dmc franchise it's not that good and even if you do like dmc the others are better.

I don't like d.m.c. for one reason my hands hurt like hell after playing for only thirty minutes to a hour. lol

yet i can play socom online for 10 hours straight go figure.
