I think you can only take it back for story credit.

if you bought it used then you can return it within 7 days. if new, then you can exchange it for the same game if it is broken. otherwise, you have to try to sell it to them, which is lame about their new games policy. ( a reason only buy used there, even tho i hate that none of that money will go to developers)

I heard rumblings of them changing that policy because many people were using it as a rental service.

it all depends

they used to let you return a game full price as long as you tell something like this game sucks

but now they got rid of that rule

Yeah, they got rid of the rule where they'll let you swap it for something. Like one of the posts says, they got tired of it being a rental service. Now they'll only let you swap the game if it's defective and even then for the same item. Same goes for new opened games.

NO. You can forget about it if it is oppened. All you can do now is trade it in, they will give u around 1/4 of the money that u payed for the game, as store credit. You gotta be a smarter shopper man, before buying, check out different reviews, see what ppl say about it, if stillnot sure, rent it. Only then buy it. Best of luck.

That is a really good idea, at the least you get a sealed copy for ebay (or walmart)...
