Hahaha, great post, dresaj124. Though CORE and Crystal Dynamics have been "over sexing" Lara Croft for quite some time, I have to say, the latest two Tomb Raider games are pretty fun. The Prince of Persia-styled mechanics work well for the franchise. As far as the puzzles go, play Tomb Raider: Legend's PC demo and, if you get stuck, you should definitely secure a Walkthrough for Anniversary Edition before buying it. Nevertheless, both games are recommended for general Adventure fans. I do have a question for those that have played Anniversary Edition - Are the cinematics, such as the pre-rendered videos, from the PSOne original back and re-done for this game?
One of my friends and I have been playing through his copy together. It's been pretty cool so far, the gameplay is good all the way around and the graphics are really nice for a PS2 game. I think there's even some bumpmapping in it, which is a rarity on a PS2 game.
Depends, if you played the original, it takes about 9 hours, at least thats what it took me. The cinimatics are in game all of them. They are faithfully re-created though.
Tomb Raider Anniversary is a great remake of the original, but it is a short game, i have been playing 6 hours and am on level 12, (the best form the original) and am enjoying it :P
