Project 8 is the only one that sucks.

Otherwise you would have to be mentally handicapped to think any of the others suck. Games that let you create stuff our next to godliness and THPS games offer massive creativity. You can create a skater, tricks, and parks. Not only can you create parks but you can create npc's and goals within those parks. Not only that! But you can create rails and gaps in your parks!!!!! The game is truly only limited by your imagination which by the sounds of it, is very very limited heh.

Most of the music sucks because its punk rock but they throw in a few(VERY FEW) good songs from other genres. There is a kool system for character advancement that not only makes your character a better skater but causes your skills to grow also. Besides the music my only issue with all the other THPS games is that your speed is to fast and your qaurter pipe jumps are to high. If you watch X-game street events where they use rails and boxes and qaurter pipes those guys dont go very fast and they do some awesome stuff. In tony hawk games your blazing around 100 miles per hour jumping 20 feet into the air or more and only doing 3-5 seconds worth of tricks.

Decrease the speed and jump height and just implement a slow down everytime you leave the groundor grind. You should have a slowmo stat so that as it increases you get to pull off even more tricks. The slowmo is project 8 was ok but again your speed was off and you barely had timeto pull off tricks unless you had jumped off something big. And I wasnt a fan of that stick controlled trick system as it took to much effort to keep your rotations correct.

Games like THAW and THUG are one of the best games you could ever purchase for a ps2. Creativity is why i'd rather play Tenchu 2 over any other tenchu game released on the ps2 or even a ninja gaiden game. Tenchu 2 let you create your own maps and even though the controls suck and the enemies easily glitch out and disappear its still more worthwhile to create your own broken crap stage than to just play somebody elses.

If you have any friends its awesome taking turns designing stuff and feeding off each others idea's. Being anti-creativity is just really ignorant and it is scary to think what you might consider a good game lol.*shivers*

Troll much? i have enjoyed them, probably some of the best sports games out there, and there is nothing better in their genre. I believe Gamespot scored one of them a perfect 10..so you sir are in the minority.
