u ppl are my last hope (Guitar Hero)

Hey guys, I have a question on Guitar HEro. I apologize if this question has been asked before, but I couldnt find the answer to this anywhere else, so I REALLY need to ask you guys. Please respond ASAP because GH is selling like mad for Christmas, and I need to pick it up.

THe problem Im having is, "Guitar Hero 2 or 3?" ANd this is ONLY for the PS2! I'm leaning towards #2 because #3 doesnt seem to have much attention for it on the PS2 (the focus is on next gen anyway) so just wondering:

EDIT: What Im basically asking is if you guys have had any ISSUES with the games? (Specifically #3). I dont care about music or gameplay features, Im just worried about the actual guitars and gameplay issues

Dude, I am familiar with 99% of the main tracks in GH3. I don't know many of the bonus bands because they are mostly up and coming groupsbut the songs are still fun to play. It's just aoutstanding and addicting game no matter what IMO.

I'm always accused of "getting that song from Guitar Hero." What? Of course I knew about most of those songs, I listen to real music (rock, metal, progressive). Heck, I knew who Fall of Troy was before Guitar Hero 3.

On topic: Go with what's cheaper. You'll get the same experience.

I am a die hard guitar hero fan, and i think that guitar hero 2 is superior to 3. part 3 feels like a degression in the series (play the first two and you'll see)icarus212001

Ya Guitar Hero 2 is the best one, but I like the song section better in GH3.

The notes in Guitar hero 3 are less precise i've noticed.

My buddy could play Guitar Hero 2 fine but when he tried playing GH3 he couldn't hit most of the notes. I didn't have much of a problem with it but I noticed the difference between the two games.

Your taking what I said too seriously. I just meant I want to have fun. I know the track list, I just dont want people saying: "get this because it has this song". And I play real guitar for 4 years, so dont worry.GameFreakJason
