I bought Bully yesterday and just played it for the first time this morning. When I saw the commercial for it, I thought it would be corny as hell, but I ended up purchasing it and I really like it. It's a very unique game.
greatest game this year better than okami and gunna be better than final fantasy 12 but once svr07 somes out it gunna take the title but so far bully is awesome when i first played just beating up nerds was pretty much the most fun ever, but theres so many rules and u cnat hijack cars :(
Im getting it soon after i get a bigger memory stick for my PSP. My Sis thinks in this game YOUR the bully and YOUR the one who causes havoc but i told her that if you do bad stuff you get punished in it showing people that its wrong. But its fun as hell to do it in a game. Parents and schools will not like this game though like mine but they know i wouldn't go to someone and stuff their head into the toilet. And i have had GTA san andreas and they knew i wouldn't get a rocket launcher and go crazy with it

I haven't play FFXII yet and I have high expectation of that game but since it hasn't come out yet. I will reserved my judgement until the game is out. However...
At first I ignored the announcement that Rockstar would be working on a new game; I guess if it didn't say Grand Theft Auto then it wasn't worth my attention. It wasn't until recently that I saw a web advertisement, reminding me that Bully is out for the PlayStation 2. I watched the review on GameTrailers and the gameplay looked pretty entertaining. I didn't know what to expect when I loaded the game for the first time. But as the ball started rolling I became even more excited, because I knew I was in for a treat. The story itself started out brilliantly, and the tutorials in the beginning are perfectly in sync with the plot itself. I actually laughed listening to Gary's monologues and remembered how Rockstar is so great at storytelling. The mission system is also well-done - spending a day going to class to upgrade your arsenal, talking to a few students, and then tackling a mission or two before bedtime. I grew into the habit, ironically, of staying up late playing the game when I should have been doing homework in real life. That's how great it was. Proceeding through the story, I found that the characters were less and less developed then their original appearances. It was beginning to feel like a rush to the inevitable conclusion (all factions against one another) and I didn't like the ending at all. For those who have completed the game, I'm sure you'll agree with me that it was a short (but sweet) adventure, and the extra side tasks might persuade you to put the disc back in once in a while. Rockstar really set the bar high for action/adventure games. I am so impressed with the sheer creativity they had in developing this game. Walking through the hallways of Bullworth is a sure guarantee for laughter as the many stereotypes roam the campus. I was really impressed with the graphics as a matter of fact. With all of the "next-gen" hype rising, I sometimes forget how incredible the PlayStation 2 really is. What some critics considered "muted" or "foggy" I find very appealing and smooth. I don't want everything to be bright and shiny as if it's some artificial environment. The overall color tone adds to the artistic appeal of the game itself.

You actually think Bully is better than Okami and Final Fantasy XII? :roll: Wrestling games suck BTW.
This game was great for the first week or so but it is one of the EASIEST games I have ever played. That isnt necessarily a bad thing since you do not get stuck on missions like in GTA. I am a good gamer but I only failed one mission on the first try so if your looking for even the slightest challenge then Bully is not the game for you. The music is cool...the graphics are of GTA quality and the controls are about the same. I finished the game in about a week and now I am on the stage called, "endless summer". They should have called it endless time of the shelf because that is where it will collect dust.Â
Bottom line....really fun game and i highly reccomend playing it but I think its a rental. I just cant see myself riding a bike and throwing eggs at people to keep entertained. I am not trying to hate....just my opinion...

Yeah, playing this game is a bummer knowing you can't do drive the cars like in GTA.
I bought it the moment that it came out, and I enjoyed it... but it is kind of getting forgotten with the other games I'm playing. Final Fantasy 12, and Guitar Hero 2 are taking up most of my time.
It's about as unoriginal as all Rockstar games. Personally I'm starting to hope that the studio dies after GTA 4. They need to step it up and innovate again.
one of the best games of last year. the story is simple, but good, and very addicting. the only problem i had is that it was easy, and for me it had no replay value, i didnt really wanna see the story twice, or go around and collect all 75 rubber bands
