Thats stupid why should capcom release it on ps2 wen it's 7 years old, its dated hardware, Ps3 is the correct system i don't know why you would even want to play it on the ps2 it soooooooo old now on it's little 295 mega hurtz processor. Ps3 all the way!!
I know what you mean by it being unfair. But if they keep making the same game for both consoles then they won't be able to capitilize on the steep prices. Unfair is merely putting it nicely
incase you didn't already know, DMC4 is going to 360, and PC. and i HATE it when developers port next-gen games to current/last gen consoles, those games end up being really bad

you right when games going to another consoles they really bad like GTA ,Need For Speed and more other games,only the games that released to one console they the best !!! like FFX/XII,DMC1/3,GOW1/2 that was the best games to the PS2,why ? because they out only for the PS2 !!!!! that why they good !!! :)
i think its unfair because I really love the devil may cry series but I can't afford a PS3...markalquinn
well its sad but to downgrade a game would seem useless because u would have to reconstruct the graphics since ps2 doesnt have high definition quality. and it would be a major pain in the butt to do that. :SÂ

i read about a riot because of why capcom release dmc4 on certain system only... they had a petition for it and i dont remember the rest.. it's kind of a disappointment from the fans i guess..
Any developer with respect for its product wont downgrade theyr games to support inferior hardware than what it was designed for.
