I would love many of the PS3 games available and some of the ones coming out, the thing is that I haven't even played the previous games of those series that I won't to play. So, for the moment, I am fine with my PS2. I will get a PS2 when the slim version comes out for $200 and all the great games are only $30 instead of a $600 system and $60 games, it's the logical thing to do; I might even wait until PS4 and get it at launch and play all the PS3 games on it for $20 each. Until one of those two things I will continue playing my PS2, Gamecube, and DS and I might even trade my GC in for the Wii.
Already got one the day of the Warhawk release, backwards compatibility and online games are high on my list at the moment.
Not many games im looking forward to, Just Disgaea3 and UT3 for the moment. Ninja gaiden sigma and DMC4 are musthaves for me but im not in a hurry to get them.
As much as I would love a new console, PS3 is not the one I will buy, why ? because it is not backward compatible and I could not play all my PS2 games on it, which I love. BLACK is without doubt the one game I could sway me into forking out my hard earned cash unless BLACK2 came out on PS2!

Nubstick, only the 40GB version is not BC, All the PS3's before that have BC. there is plenty of choise and the 60GB is probably the best one.

I enjoy playing games, but they don't really rule my life. I mean I play for a little bit a few days a week, but I'm not hardcore I guess. I'm happy with my PS2 to be honest. I might get a PS3 in a couple years when they have a good price drop, but for now I'm perfectly happy with my PS2 collection.
For me I guess it'd have to be Dynasty Warriors 6, and Devil May Cry 4. Or something. I don't really intend to get the PS3 once they're out. I'm waiting for a better price-drop. I'm only a middle-class Highschool student, so the PS3 is still a little expensive for me. =P
Im waiting for some blockbuster RPG title to come out and sweep up the competition. I play strictly RPGS, so whenever sony decides to clear the smoke and bring out a great title then Im on board.
hmmm ffXIII and khIII are the only two games that are even going to make me consider gettinga ps3 within the next 5 years of my life. Oh and possibly DMC4 and Assasin's Creed but both of those games will be on the much more affordable Xbox 360.
