Final Fantasy VI, aka Final Fantasy III in the USA, back on the SNES for a numbered FF. Final Fantasy Tactics back on the PS1 is the best game to bear the FF name though.
FF:CC > FF6 > FF7 > FF:T > FF12 > FF10. Chrystal Chronicles is freaking sweet, GREAT deformed graphics, awesome storyline, great music, awesome combat engine.I will probably crap myself when the Wii version drops at the end of the year. I also am extremely pissed off at waiting forRings of Fate for the DS which basically got delayed a year. All other FF games are just less than exciting storylines with some fun minigames thrown in and dreadful combat that focus's primarily on item juggling.
Atleast in FF6 you have a very large cast of unique characters and the ability to altar your characters stats by equipping specific espers. FF7 again had unique characters and an ok story, and a cool weapon customization system. FF:T was tacitcal which automatically means halfway decent combat definately not boring. FF12 is graphically beautiful, and has a unique combat engine. FF10 was just a huge story.
