Dude there are only TWO FF games for the PS2 (ignoring the online game wich has nothing on the mainseries.) How freaking hard can it be to read up on reviews for TWO games? actually you dont even have to read anything, just go to gamerankings.com and compare the score for the TWO games.
Final Fantasy 10 hands down. The story was way better than 12's, and the characters were way more interesting. It had the battle system from the old days and the sphere grid was an awesome idea.
12 and 10 but I like ten way more. IDK its just I like the battle system more even if there kinda the same but 12's battle systems like turns battles but you move around

but what about the GRAPHICS ?? which one has the better graphics ?
12 obviously would have the better graphics because 10 came out in the first year of the PS2 and 12 came out this past October. Graphics can only take a game so far hough, get 10 it's a better game.
I know I'm in the minority on this, but I say FF12 > FFX-2 > FFX. FF12 had its fair share of flaws, but it brought something new to the table and was a step in the right direction, and had characters I actually liked. And FFX-2 had an awesome battle system.
FFX-2 has the best battle system but i didn't like the story. The best is FFX since it has an excellent story and is an overall better game than FFX-2 and FFXII.
FF-X for sure... This game is just amazing... I love the characters from the start they were introduced.. and as the story progress.. i somehow got drawn into it.... it seldom happens to me... The graphics are great (for that time) , the sound track are just perfect... (love the ending theme) gameplay wise, well nothing new there, but it's nice... But i guess the main thing is the story.. not to mention i almost had tears at the end... :cry: If someone says FF-X is the worse.. trust me.. dont believe them... It may betheir opinion thatit mightnot the best.. but definately not worse... But i would think it's one of the easiest FF games... no ? :)
I've beaten X but haven't beaten XII yet. I've got that "Buy and Never Beat Syndrome" where you buy a game and play it for a while, then find/hear about/see another game and buy that one and start playing it instead - then repeat that cycle. Out of my collection, I've beaten 24 games. X was one of them.
I would pick (thus far anyways) XII because I like the battle system.
