What is the best RPG?

Get Persona 3, read some reviews why.

Final Fantasy 7, Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1.

Final Fantasy XII, God of War 2 (if you can consider this an RPG) and Persona 3for the PS 2.

I have to tell you, I played FFX twice, first time was addictive and cool, I get to the end, but didnt make all the side quest stuff, second time I went for all the extra stuff (like 3 years later) and I find the movies in the game very cool (the prerendered) but the ones using the game's 3D engine, where shacky and bad animated, the voice acting where very good except for the ANOYING Tidus, the main character, there is no end to the anoyance of this character, I couldnt stand it to the end of the game, I have it saved just before the last figh and I just cant go there.

Im waiting for Persona3 to be less expensive, like 20 bucks. I hope this game doesnt go rare.

I didnt play the FFXII but I will, I just hope that Square forgot about using anoying crying baby main characters for this one.

Final Fantasy X is the best rpg because of the story, excellent graphics and the fact it can be purchased for less than $20. I have actually beaten FF-X it took like a month and a half of playing about 5 hours everyday. 300+ hours for 20 bucks it doesn't get much better.

The main character tidus to be the best ever and all the others to add something to the game instead of being pointless. And of course how can i forget the villains from the misunderstood Jecht (the coolest dude ever) to the misguided Seymour(who for those that havent played FFX is my avatar)

Why does everyone love Persona 3? I find it to be less than interesting and original in its story, no to mention the repetitive combat system and the main character who doesn't even speak. That was great for Chrono because he had facial features and expressions, but this character is just plain and you can almost never see his face.

I don't know, for me Persona 3 is just a regular and slow RPG. FFXII can have lame characters and a lack of great story (not my opinions tough) but the combat system is very fast paced and a great turn over from the basic turn based ones. That is originality and that's why FF belongs to Square.
