What is your favourite Ps2 game ever? And Why?

I would say my favourite Ps2 game ever would have to be Call Of Duty 3.

The graphics are fair :? The game play is brilliant :D I find it really entertaining :) And i have never had any technical problems with it.

I want to hear what your favourite game is and why.

Final Fantasy X, since the story was really great, the graphics were great, and the game was LOOOOONG if you wanted to beat Nemesis (I wanted, and it took me 123 hours, lol). And it was pretty fun to beat the limits by a ton, I mean, my characters had around 45 000 HP and attacked always of 99 999, lol. A cool game.

In REALLY NEAR second, I'd put dragon quest 8. Another good and long game (73 hours). And it's HARD, I mean, I finished the game at level 34!! Try it, you'll see why it took me a lot of time, lol.

GTA San Andreas -Huge map with unlimited things to do. Great story line with some of the best narrating jobs.

Kingdom Hearts 2 because it was almost perfect IMO. Plus I had so much fun with it.

Second placed would be Jak 3. It's easily the best platformer I've ever played and quite challenging to boot.

I have to say a couple of games:

Ys: The Ark of Napishtim because I've always been a Ys fan as well as it still has the original battle and overall concepts with a bit of extras that don't destroy the gameplay.

Disgaea because of how many mechanics and different features the game has which makes it unique.

Dark Cloud 2... playing it still, and I have almost 80 hours on it, no end in sight. Not sure where the time went, it just flew by, you can set the pace of this game and randomly go off and replay old levels to finish off everything.

I'm not sure if I can call it my favourite PS2 game yet, but if everything keeps going on at this quality, it sure is. Most other RPGS on the PS2 are interesting but linear beyond belief.

Level 5 is making some PS3 games, and this gives a lot of hope for some quality RPGS for the PS3

There's still a couple I need to finish (and buy), but so far I have to say Shadow Of The Colossus. Its also one of my favourite games ever, its just beautiful.

Project Zero 2 (a.k.a. Fatal Frame 2) is also wowing me at the moment, possibly the scariest game I've ever played.
