What to buy? FFX or FFXII

hi,

i've never played a ff game since mystic quest on SNES so i'd like to try one now. But I'm not sure which on i should get. playing both games isn't possible for me since they are too time consuming.

So which game would you recommend and why? Generally i'm not into RPG playing so is it even worth buying a FF game?

Sqaure-enix is now knee deep in creating and fleshing out this specific FF environment/world called Ivalice. I think there is a difference between normal FF games and Ivalice related games. Some of the Ivalice games are FF:Tactics, FF:T advanced, Chrystal Chronicles, FF12. I think you should be aware of that if you have had an absense.

FF X is a classical and maybe the best in the whole serie.
But I hope you buy them both.

if you want a better combat System get XII

Only get X-2 IF you beat X otherwise its pretty pointlees
