Whats the best RPG on the PS2?

u really cant ask that question.... lol there are soo many good titles right now here are some of the best

FF 12   Rouge galaxy     Dark Cloud 2  FF 10   SO:TTEOT   Valkyire Profile 2   BoF: DQ  Radiata Stories  

i haven't played a lot of rpg's

but out of the few i have played, i have to say that ffx was just amazing in ever sense of the word. great combat, great story, great characters (cept tidus can get a tad annoying sometimes). i just loved the whole game

Be wary of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter (neither one of them are very good)

Valkyrie Profil 2: Silmeria can do no wrong.................greatest rpg of all-time:)

SMT: Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha Vs. The Soulless Army

I'd also add Mega Man X: Command Mission if you are a fan of MM or MMX.

Xenosaga is a good choice. I'm almost done with #1 and moving on to #2. Also, I just bought Tales of Legandia, Rogue Galaxy and Shadow Hearts:ftnw. I've been looking for Dark Cloud 2 and Suikoden V but they seem to be hard to find. Maybe I'll try ebay. :)

Yeah, Grandia III is very underrated, great battle system. The story can get a little cheesy at times, but still a good game.

Well, my friend, there are some.. i.e. Final fantasy X is a good one, Rogue galaxy, Valkyrie profile 2: silmeria, dragon Quest VIII, Disgaea 2, Kingdom Hearts 1-2, Star Ocean 3, Shadow hearts, Suikoden 3 and i liked Final fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus. And I recommend you to play some of these playstation one RPG's if you haven't played them before, because they are really good games and deserve your attention and time to play them: Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Final fantasy 7,8,9.
