I can't choose between Kingdom Hearts I, KHII, God of War, and GoWII. All have equally outstanding ending sequences
Of course the ONLY good answer here is Metal Gear Solid 3. Anyone who has played through this game can attest to the amazing, emotional ending this game has.LostProphetFLCL
I disagree. I was never really attached to The Boss because she just seemed artifically tacked on to the game andas such, the ending really didn't make me feel anything at all. really good credits song though, I'll give it that much.

"Artificially tacked on?" Care to explain how she was "artificially tacked on" when she was so closely related to naked snake and was seamlessly interwoven into big boss's and many other main characters' (ie Ocelot) storyline? That being said though MGS3 was the best ending for me because it managed to pull my emotional strings...something that game endings rarely do to me.

I guess I phrased it wrong. What i meant was in the beggining it just seems that they force the character onto you, it doesn't feel as if there really used to be a pre-existing relationship between Boss and Snake, it's just "Codec call: This is The Boss. She used to be your mentor. Then she left you 5 years ago." Their whole relationship just didn't really feel natural, I guess, and that's what kept the ending from being that emotional for me.
i'm gonna say it once(but u can read it again if u want).......i liked MGS3 and GOWI and GOWII and lots of other games but...........It's simple.......*Kingdom HeartsII*

yes!!! lol did u see the big boss talking to snake....then at the end it shows someone in front of the window while snake is talking i think...lol
FFX and MGS2 (I know, some people think Raiden is gay but I don't care =D).
But there's an ending for a PS1 game that is really funny and annoying: Duke Nukem Time to Kill, I had the trouble to get all the special weapons so I could see the extended ending where the Duke shows his butt... just that... I was angry at first but then realized it was really a Duke Nukem style of ending :)
