The PS2 is soon to be 'extinct'. It probably has a few more games coming out but then you got to get a next gen console. I already got mine (Wii) and am getting a 360. Whats your next system going to be?
Pretty much everyone I know says the 360 is pretty solid but those same people also acknowledge the PS3 as being the superior system(although it currently suffers from a lack of great games). I am going PS3 with a copy of MGS4 when it is released. When this happens there will also be enough great games to justify the purchase of a system without backwards compatski.

I went from ps2 to 360, and i would never say the ps3 is superior. good gamesare the only thing that justifies buying a system.
hmm tough decision. none of the consoles now have a good lineup of games that im interested in. perhaps in a few more years they will and one of them will make me want to buy that console most.
