I played DMC3 on easy mode just to play through the game.WSGRandomPerson
I did the same. I just wanted to breeze through the story.
I usually try to start on Normal mode and work my way through. I just put WWE RvS 2007 on easy mode during season because I got tired of getting my butt handed too me and I'm not good with the controls still.
Last game before that was Jedi Knight Academy
Last time I played a game on easy mode was Metal Gear Solid 3. Considering I had never played MGS before in my life, I reckon I did okay.
I ALWAYS use the easiest difficulty available. Im not out to prove to the world how great my gaming skillz are(especially in a single player game, nerds). Its just like watching a movie for me. I just want to experience and then move on to the next.Raising my blood pressure and breaking my furniture doesnt help me enjoy a game any more. If you have to make the game insanely hard to enjoy it then was it really that fun to begin with?? Your just creating you own imaginary hurdle to jump over to get a feeling of accomplishment.Exactly (well... except the furniture part :) ). I'll play a game at least the first time through on Easy whenever the option is there.
Having said that I RESPECT the fact that some people have their fun by overcoming said hurdles. Thats why i am a strong supporter of difficulty levels. I think alot of times developers totally screw up in that area though. Usually they just crank up the enemy health and crank down your damage and make the enemy AI never pause. DBZ and DMC are games where I dont think the difficulty range is correct. _AbBaNdOn
