there are so many good PS2 games, it really depends on what you're into. personally, my favorite PS2 games are Final Fantasy X, Okami and Dragon Quest VIII. you might want something like San Andreas, Resident Evil 4 or maybe a sports game instead though.
if you're into snowboarding games, get SSX 3. awesome game.
I think he meant, "Which game did you first buy when you bought your PS2?", because he put his answer, but I could be wrong.... If that is what he meant, my answer is Tekken Tag Tournament.
