Which game - most annoying level ever?

Like the topic says which game on the PS2 had you throwing your controller out of the window and made you wanting to kill something living? (figure of speech)

My is: Armored Core 3:Infiltrate Rehito Laboratory

(love that game but sometimes it's just to damn easy or hard!)

MK Shaolin Monks final boss fight was probably the most annoying stage... Not only you had to fought 3 bosses in a row, buit the are was sos mall you didnt have much place to dodge the attacks.. it was really annoying when i died 200th time...

Have to agree with this one, you need a lot of patience for that part of the game. There's also a similar part in God of War 2 where you have to climb Atlas' arm and you need to avoid falling rocks at the same time. But the Path to Hades is way harder than that one.

Exactly. It's really annoying that you fall all the way to the bottom once you get hit.

I pride myself on beating a game and then mastering it. Black was not that game. The majority of the game looked good but that last level was something serious. No place to hide, no health pack, all enemies have the biggest guns and body armor. I haven't played it in about 9 months.

At the moment Black is really annoying me, I'm on the 3rd mission and there are 2 guys with rpg's shooting at me but there are also loads of enemies, you have to run through some tunnels but magically the rpgs can still hit you, so your getting bombarded with rpg rockets, whilst having to fight past men which are frankly ridiculously hard to kill. Then if you manage it you have to find the rpg shooters which I can't even do. (by the way did i mention this was on Easy...anyone with the patience to do it on black ops mode deserves a medal.)bobbetybob

Sorry to tell you this, but it only gets harder. Just wait until you get to the asylum level, or the bridge level. You'll want to rip your hair out. :x

The turtle-like colossus in Shadow of the Colossus. I only tried to beat him like 30 minutes, but he annoyed me so badly that I haven't touched the game since.morsy

Yeah... Everytime I start a new file on Shadow of the Colossus I alway have a bad feeling cuz I know I'm eventually going to have to fight that guy.

GOD OF WAR II on god mode. the boss fights are really hard.

Same here--I think that's where I'll end the game because I can't get by that level even on Easy mode. I really hate it when games become hard (or impossible) just for the sake of being harder.

Otherwise--Like others have said, God of War in Hades with the rotating pillars of blades. After I finally did it, I felt like everything else afterwards (even in real life) was a piece of cake! I guess I should say thank you to the GOW developers, right? LOL

In MGS2 fighting the Rays in extreme mode and in Rygar the fight with Icarus are very annoying,when I was fighting the rays I left playing the game for 3 days and after those 3 days,I play it again and in my second try I beat them. : )tequilero

Yeah, sometimes after a break coming back you do something like that and you wonder why did it seem so hard before?

The rays were insane but do-able.

The dream missions in Max Payne...following the long narrow corridors and the baby crying and platforming on the blood trails...WTF?!? So happy when I passed those parts of the game...tryfe_lyn

Also, when you fight that big bird monster on the ship in Devil May Cry as he pelts you offscreen and you are unable to retaliate. So infuriating.
