WHICH is the best ps2 game

 There are too many that i cannot decide which is the best one :?

It's each to their own I suppose, there isn't a "definetive" top 5. But in my personal opinion if I had to choose 5 I'd say-

1. God Of War (yet to play 2)
2. MGS 3: Snake Eater
3. Final Fantasy X
4. Shadow Of The Colossus
5. Resident Evil 4

In no particular order.

Bah, I prefer a top 10, as there are many I like a lot!  I'm going to pick 5 as well... And in no particular order...

1. FF XII

2. FF X & X-2

3. Okami

4. Shadow of the Colossus

5. Suikoden V (not finished this game but I am loving it!)

There are quite a few others I'd love to fit in this list...  Choosing these is harder than it sounds.

There is not a best PS2 game,but there is the best in the genre like in RPG its FFX ,Action its GOW and so other ...

GoW 1
GoW 2
Devil May Cry 3
Gran Turismo 4
Okami
MGS 3 - Snake Eater('cause i have that, my uncle brought this game, but i asked for Subsistence... ai ai..)
RE4 and FFXII (I never play this games, but they are very nice game, graphics and gameplay is good)
I don't know, but PS2 has a 1000 Best games....

I'm suprised at how many people love God of War... I thought it was a very generic beat em up, with a generic story... all it is is gore. I was really bored with it after a couple hours of play.niptuckSean

well technically Shakespeare didn't create his own stories, he just took stories of his time and made them better

well technically Shakespeare didn't create his own stories, he just took stories of his time and made them better

Your argument is flawed. Shakespeare wrote interesting stories. GOW is a standard 'story'. 

1) ffx

2) dynasty warriors 4 and up

3) grand theft auto - san andreas

4) gran turismo 4 and up

5) god of war

in no order, just first that came to mind...

 But Shakespeare merely polished the stories up more that the original... besides who doesn't want to beat a god and feel like a badass doing it? lol
