Final Fantasy X-2. At times it felt like the whole game was a big sidequest.

I thought Final Fantasy VIII had quite a few sidequests. Running around trying to get all the cards, finding hidden gaurdian forces, finding the right enemies that drop just the right item to upgrade your weapon, finding all the weapon monthlys'. It takes a while to completely finish that game.

Chrono Trigger had a bunch too. A few were to get different endings, some were to find hidden rainbow weapons and others were to seek out and destroy secret bosses.

Shadow Hearts Covenant and To the New World both have a large number of side quests.

I got to say FF12... I was so bored with the game i dont even want to know do other side quests anymore. I just want to beat the game and play some other action games.

bleah I'd have to agree Shadow Hearts in general is sidequest after sidequest once you reach a certain part of the game. Also while its not for the ps2...I'd say Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is the mother of all sidequest games for me.

I agree. Seems like some games have lots of little sidequests or a couple large ones. I do know which one is better.

Star Ocean Til the End of Time has so much. Maybe not the most, but they'll certainly take the longest, compared to most RPGs.

Either disgaea 1 or 2 they are both extremely long when you do the sidequests, the main story is sorta short but item world and getting titles and max characters is crazy.

Final Fantasy XII has a lot. Dragon Quest VIII has a lot of side stuff to do, not necessarily quests, but a lot of side content.

I think Suikoden V, If you consider what you have to do to get the stars of destiny as a side quest, you have to do quite a lot of side quests, which makes the game fun for some people and too long for others.

I have to go with the Suikoden games because not only are there quests to get all 108 characters, but there are also a bunch of games and things as well.
