Which Suikoden to play

1,2 are ok but 3 is ... well lets say bad only

On topic, I found 3 the most entertaining, but I enjoyed each of them.

3,1,5,2,Tactics,4 I think, though 1 only places so highly because I love the first game in most series

Tacticts is beautiful and great but I will never play it again. I had rented it and took it back because new games caught my interest. Then i deleted the file because i didnt think i would play it again. Then i rerented it only to find out i had deleted my save file. So i restarted and really got into it but then i noticed i started losing people who died in battle. So i ask on the forums and they are like yeah non main character can die.But you can just lose the battle and get them back. Well it was to late and I had already lost to many people so i just quit.I also liked 4.I love sail boats. Im like 45 hours in but i dont really care about Suikoden games, their only special feature is character collection right? The stories are unremarkable and the combat offers nothing special. They are like even crappier FF games to me.

I have them all I,II,III,IV,V and tactics. If I'm only playing one, which one is the best? I was thinking IIweasrock

But I would recommend playing them in order, you can however skip Suikoden 4 cause that game sucks

thanks everyone. III got the best rating on gamespot by a large margin, but IGN ranked them all pretty highly, so I don't know. I guess it will be between II and IIIweasrock

It'll make more sense to you if you play 1, 2, and 3 in order as they have many shared characters between the three, though the stories are all seperate.

I would play them in order cause u can load the game save from the previous game in 1-3 and get extra stuffEric_Drav3n
