i played dragonball z budokai the very first some years ago, i liked it only because
it was the first really good 3d fighting game based on the dragonball series.

now i have a question, i am deciding on rather or not i should purchase tenkaichi 3
due to the fact of its largest character list. now may i ask if there is anything unique about the character moves or are they pretty much all the same?

didn't like tenkaichi 2 PS2 maybe its because the controls felt very strange to me or the fact i was loosing. whatever the case, Tenkaichi 3 sounds like a must have
based on the character facts, your opinions?

oh and should i get this for the wii or ps2? i have both consoles. which is best?

by the way, 161 characters is a a huge load.

If you get this game, get it on the wii for certain for 2 reasons. The controls are no where near as bad as the ps2 version, and theres online play. I played the original sparking! *tenkaichi budokai 1 in america* a few years back, and hated it because the buttons didn't feel like they worked as they should have. But I bought sparking! neo on the wii *2nd tenkaichi game* and loved it to death. As long as you go to training to learn the wii controls, you'll be fine. Just as a suggestion if you give the game a chance- be aggressive with your enemies. If your a defensive player, you'll die. Its an unbalanced game for certain.

Oh, and while theres many different characters, most of them have the same moves. Like 40 characters will have the same moves, while another 40 have a different set, and so on. Not a varied system at all. You played with 3 characters, you've played them all.

If you didnt like BT2 you probably wont like BT3 since its just an expanded form of BT plus some broken missing mechanics. BT3's single player gameplay sucks immensely. The only cool thing about BT3 is some of the new mechanics and the fact that if you have 2 player battles you can record the fights and play them back. You should probably just get Budokai 3. Me personally I think BT2 was the best.
