Just wanted to see who here still or has played xenogears, i think its one of the best games i have ever played currently im at the part where Tru Welltall drops the sand cruiser on bart, has anyone else played this awesome game.

Nope... its reallya great game. Beat it 2 times... I almostnever play a gametwice!!! Have it till xmas of 97-98,don't remember, but never touch it again... But really one of the bests rpgs of all time!

I'm playing Xenogears for the first time right now, i'm about 18 hours in and at the part where you fight 'the battlers'. Its a pretty awesome mini-game with a whole different combat system where you fight in your Gears like a fighting style game.
I recently finished it earlier this year and yes, its one of the greatest rpgs ever made. The only thing that annoys me of a replay is that the game crashes very rarely and usually glitches and freezes on one of the bosses... i forgot his name.
one of the best RPGs ever for sure. love that game so much....ahh the memories......I got up to the last save point in the game b4 the showdown with deus and the 'four mini bosses' and i kinda left it there...i dunno but i feel sad everytime i beat the game and it ends :(
I have never played the game beofre so i got it a few days ago and i'm playing it now. I heard great reviews from it and being an RPG fan i thought i owed myself to play it. At the moment i got past the desert bit and onto the pirates ship, so far i am enjoying it although i wish i would have played it back when it came out. :D
Yes, best RPG ever made consider the technology that was available at that time(graphics, audio effects, system)and story(both in structure and presentation)in my opinion. A shameI played Japanese version first, but even-though I don't understand a word somehow the presentation of the story let me figured out much of the story.
For countless times I dreamt a remake of Xenogear just so that it could run on myPS3 and only when I thought about this I regret about gave away my PS and PS2....
Wish sometime into the future I will be able to enjoy Xenogear once again.
Xenogears is my second favorite RPG of all time (right behind Chrono Trigger). I've already played it I believe 10 times, with the last time being about a year ago during a slow time of gaming. If there wasn't so many top notch games coming out this season, I'd probably go back and start another game of XG.
In my experience games with "xeno" in the title are overly pretenscious games well worth avoiding.super_police
Xenogears was good, all the xenosagas were pretty terrible as evident by all the staff that kept quitting Monolith to get out of that train wreck. Combined with the abortion of the series it ended up showing that xenogearswas an accidental masterpiece.
I bought a brand new never opened copy 3 years ago for 60 bucks, and beat it as quickly as i could because i could not put it down. and i still play it.oh,,, and to the guy who said xenosaga sucks, you are very wrong, i love that series too, even though xenogears is better.
I want to play it again...but its the only copy I have and I can't find a replacement without spending money I would rather put into my computer. So, it sits in my bookshelf with all the other PSX games I would love to play. ~sigh~

While I am very protective of my games, I never bought one with the intention of ever selling it at a later date. I paid good sums for some of them, and I plan to enjoy them, why have them collect dust on my shelf? If being a collector is keeping sealed copies and not playing then you have gone beyond the realm of gaming havent you?
I want to play it again, but I lost it when my family and I moved to another house. Geez, I was about 13 or so when I first played the game. I might be able to understand the story if I played it now, because it completely flew over my head when I played this 10 years ago.
