Your all either crazy or have never played a fighting game in your life!!!! :lol: The greatest fighter in any game has to Scorpion from MK come on he has a spear that comes out of his hand, he's from the lower depths of hell, he can breathe fire, teleport... I've had to prove he's the best many a time by kicking my mate's butt in a good ol' Scorpion vs Sub-Zero match.

That's what makes it good though, I don't want to play a beat em' up with normal people wearing a pair of tight lycra pants and a pair of boxing gloves, I want mutants, cannibals, four armed freaks, people who can  morph etc cos' it's fantasy that's why I play video-games. You say Scorpion's over-done? Why do you think that is? Cos' he's the best.

I have always liked Paul Pheonix from Tekken, but that's becouse I was good with him, but the best fighter? Nah

I don't play much fighting games because I'm really bad, but I enjoy the Soul Calibur series a whole lot.

And I always seem to do well while choosing Taki.
So I guess she's the best fighting game character for me, personally.

tekken: either Eddie Gordo, or Hwoarang

SF: Ryu/ken for sure!

I'd choose Scorpion, but his fighting styles are inconsistent. From the old 2D games, to the 3D ones, and even MK:SM, his fighting style is all over the place. And I bet he'll fight differently again on next-gen MK games.

 I choose Ryu. He's classic and always will be.
