why is the PS3 so bad?

It's not, really. It'll probably have the future Shin Megami Tensei titles as exclusives.

I'll picka PS3up for the SMT serieswhen they've redesigned the system and the price tag.

PS3 Ain't Bad Just Lacking Games.

No good games but that's to be expected. I owned a 360 and Wii at launch and all I could do was groan and moan that I was stupid enough to waste my money on them. But eventually 360 got some good games. Wii I'm still waiting for, as for PS3.... Drakes fortune is looking like the must have title of the season and may just get me thinking about picking up a ps3.

Just gotta wait for all the awesome games to come out. Thats when the PS3 will inherit the fire passed down from the PS1 to the PS2 :D

I've just bought mine and I think it's fairly good. I tough at first that I wouln't really play on it before assassin's creed but the demos are looking really nice, and motorstorm is better than I thought. Still, it's not worth the ful 80g price, try to find a good price, I mean, I payed 499$ for my 80g ps3 WITH a remote (and motorstorm, dah)... that's a good price! :D

But anyway, the ps3 is better for me that the xbox 360 since I'm an RPG player (JRPGs). AND I had an xbox 360, it was always getting an errors while downloading over night, so I returned it and bought a ps3 (I hated Gears of war, the only-one-weapon game), and I'm really happy with my ps3. The 1st time, I let it download all the night and when the morning came, no problems, and 30 new demos! :D (only 38g free after the first day, lol).

But It's not worth it is you don't wanna play assassin's creed, MGS4, eternal sonata and GTA4 right now. If you don't really care about these games (like a lot of my friends, who are waiting for JRPGs à la FF), don't buy it right now!!!

It's not bad, there is just no games worth buying the equipment for (with the exception of a few). Once there is a lot of really good games out and people realize why it is priced so high (for the quality) then people won't mind paying the price. Honestly, I find the fact that there are no good games as a good thing, as long as the PS3 doesn't sell Sony will keep lowering the price. By the time it becomes affordable there will be great games out. Then the PS3 will sell like crazy and Sony will make all their money back and will be able to get even more exclusives, making it the winner of this gen of systems. Then Sony will make a slim version and drop the price even lower, and when developers see the sells they will make even more PS3 exclusives and then it will be better than PS2.

At least that's what I'm hoping for. :)
