Why the FF will prevail such a long time.

I begin to play Final Fantasy XII yesterday. Before XII, I had finished VII,VIII,IX,X. All of them are fascinating. Because of the real-time scene, the graphic looks worse than XI, the game plot is good at the beginning part. Talk about the battle system, it remind me Valkyrie profile2. I think it's more active but come to two or three players, I don't know. Comparing to DQ, FF series got a whole inmaginary world, which makes it fun to exploring the world not only find people and architecture with "culture". DQ concentrate more on the gameplay, but ignore the story(simple as fairy tale). To me, as plot maniac of RPG, I really enjoy FFXII.
