will devil may cry scare me?

I'm 14 years old and I'm thinking of buying devil may cry 3 the only thing that stops me is that I'm afraid the game will scare me

get the third, it has so much action, no time for being scared!!!and it´s the best!

maybe with the 1rst you get scared,because de gameplay in some parts it´s like resident evil (exploring, getting keys, walking alone in hallways),but they aren´t horror games,just get the 3rd!!! 

The only thing to be scared of would be the gothic theme. if your the kind of person to see a gothic in the streets and cringe in fear DMC is not for you :)

Really the demons are so defenceless as you hack and slash your way through them you cant be scared.

It will scare you... but only with how good it is! :P

And possibly with how hard it is at times... I'm with 2deluxe, I still find DMC3 (especially DA, which I rarely play anymore since I got SE) to be quite challenging, but in a totally good way. Maybe it's an issue of age and reflexes, but I have to be pretty focused and on my game to really rip through it.

DMC is a violent game naturally, which is why it's rated M. But I wouldn't worry about actually being scared of any of the content. It's a wild and wacky over-the-top adrenalized action frenzy, not horror. If the violence itself isn't a problem for you and your legal guardian, you'll probably find it a lot of fun... especially with your 14-year old reflexes.

jk jk, if you don't like horror movies that's your thing.  As for DMC3 no it won't scare you unless you are easily, and I mean EASILY frightened.

nothing about the game is scary, and some parts are even hurmorous which should detract from whatever aspects of the game may possibly scare you.  scare factor aside, you'll be missing one of the cooler ps2 action-oriented games if you don't pick this up.  the collector's box was just released a month or two ago, and i'd suggest you pick it up.

there's no 360 head-turning if that's what you're thinking about LOL. 

Alright, if you think that DMC2 was "sick" then that's cool.  I wouldn't request any recommendations from you regarding games.... Peace
