The PS2 well die out someday...
but that day isnt in the near furture. i believe that the PS2 well go strong well into 2008 and possibly 2009 if it keeps up with the great games its recieved lately.
Sony doesn't just kill consoles like MS. The PS was still getting good games long after the PS2 was launched.
Sorry if I come off sounding like a fanboy, but I had a PS and it gave me a lifetime of good games and then I went and got a PS2. I also got an Xbox and the game supply dried up after Halo2 and the Xbox360
dude...
face the fact. PS2 will soon die...
Just like PSone..

The Xbox lasted a freakin' 4 years! It officialy ended production 8 months before the Xbox did! wtf!? then I have to buy a Xbox360? go to hell MS! GRRRRR!!!
/me ends rant and dunks head in bucket of ice to cool off

No, because sony wasn't stupid like microsoft was and didn't stop supporting the system
Yep the PS2 will die someday, but it has great games for a now,and the graphic isnt so bad,i just love this console.....,i hopo it will take for it 2-5 years until its die because now the ps3 games is the same like ps2,just beter graphic,i hope it will stay :|,the PS1 is not so bad have FF7 and Silent Hill.....,i hoping it will stay .........
It will die in the same sense as the NES; It'll still be popular, it'll still be remembered for its amazing game line-up, and it'll still be played and supported by the masses. Right now, though, it's still extremely strong, especially with the announcement of Guitar Hero III. No one has any reason to dump their PS2 yet, and, even when the PS2 drifts into memory, it'll still be quite popular.
