Woot. Scored off ebay.

Man ebay is a wierd and wonderous place hehehe. I've been eyeballing this ps1 game "Space hulk" for awhile now and its only been a buy it now item for like 13$(total) which I thought was just a tad over priced for a ps1 game. Well I also make ebay tell me whenever a Megaman Legends game gets put up on Ebay and so while i was checking out the megaman legend additions I also checked out space hulk and they had one for auction. It was like a few hours away from the end and it was already up to like 10$(total) so i gave up hope. It went up to like 17$ at the end. Like 3-4 people had bid on it. Well its only been a few days and I saw another one for auction so I waited for those guys who didnt win that one the other day to come start placing bids but nobody showed up. So it was within a few minutes and i placed my bid and nobody outbid or even placed a bid and I won!! "Space Hulk" for 7$ hehehe. Shipping was 6$ lol.

Score!! The game isnt that great but I just wanted it. Theres like a ton of other games over the next 2 days that are starting at 7$ to.

Did you guys know about this cool feature of ebay called bid assistant? You pick something that you want and you put in how much you are willing to pay for it and bid assistant will bid on each and every one of those until it wins one lol. I think that wouldnt be that effective because it cant snipe. I mean if it places a bid 4 days before the end of the auction chances are somebody is going to bid over you and either max out your bid or outbid you. But I think the fact that it can try to win you an item 24/7 more than makes up for it. I've never used it yet. The stuff I want is usually to rare.

Anyways congrats to me for knocking one of my wanted games off the list hehehe.

I must say Ebay owns. I just baught DMC 3 (regual edition) which is gone everywhere, new and sealed :) for only 17 bucks. Coundt find it anywhere.

P.S. I think Special edition sucks cause it has alot of half assed extras that degrade the game :P

i saw it at my local gamestore for $15 used.. worth to pick it up?

At super potato game store in japan it can cost up to 50$ to get a sealed never before used copy of a nes game now come cry how cheap you are xDGolden-Revolver

Stuff there is a little pricey in my opinion. I always manage to get good deals at other stores like Traders, and even some places like Sofmap. Of course, if you want NES, superpotato is probably your best bet... but it is good to look around... I have come across stores that have tons of NES/retro games, one that comes to mind off the top of my head is Liberty (on the 2nd floor).

It is nice to have a deal but going from 13 to 7 is not quite what I had in mind. Deals are when a game is seriously expensive and you manage to snag it at a good price...mohmaaytah

yeah like finding "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" for like $20.00 or something. Now that would be a good deal. They sell it for $69.99 on Gamestop. and $100 on Amazon for some reason. (i assume the one at gamestop has no box or instructions)
