well at first i was excited that rock band was announced for the ps2 because i have a ps2 and a wii.but then i read farther into the article and it said the ps2 will come without some of the features.do u think those feateres that they are taking out could be as drastic as taing out the drum or vocals or even bass guitar?

Your comparing PS2 to the Wii. It's expected that the Wii will outdo the PS2, its last generation.

I'm not worried, but I'm not expecting much from this game. Obviously, it's a play off of Guitar Hero. I'm all for the game succeeding but history tells me games that try to mimic other games won't do as good. Time will tell though.

Well I'm sure when they said they were leaving out some of the features they meant downloadable songs, since that is impossible with the Ps2.

Yeah I agree with the last post, the thing I dont understand is where it'll plug in. It'll be expensive aswell.

The key features I expect the PS2 version are all the online features, which means supplement songpacks won't exist on the PS2 version. Nothing is confirmed yet though.

Harmonix's CEO said they'll continue to support the GH controllers. Don't know about the other way around though. But I'm assuming they won't go out of their way to rearrange the buttons because they'll also lose support for their older controllers by doing that. So all controllers should work with all games.

I imagine that the Guitars will go into the controller ports like regular and the Drum Set and the Microphone will go into USB ports on the console. That is my contention.
