Auron is definitely the most interesting character in FFX, specially after some late discoveries! Jecht is a really cool character, shame you dont get to [;ay with him.
Auron...one look at him and I'm like yup he's my ideal. I think Auron was the first I got the ultima weapon unlocked for. I used him constantly in every fight. Seriously everything about Auron screams bad *** yet he was so calm and collected it was impossible not to like him. Seriously someone who defies death how can you not like him.
I have to say my favourite is actually Tidus, I think he is a pretty interesting guy who actually deals pretty well with a complete and dangerous change of lifestyle. On the minor side of things I like his fighting style.
Ignore the fact that my profile pic is Auron, it's just that without the scar and the dress sense he looks disturbingly like someone I know.
My vote would also have to go to Auron...he's the only character from FF X that I really found all that interesting...Everyone else was either really annoying (Yuna, Rikku) or not very developed (Kimarhi, Lulu). Auron was the only character from X that I found was both developed as a character and not annoying as hell.
Auron, but I also liked the child who represented the summoners of Zanarkand and the unseen character, Yevon. Without Yevon, there would be no stories to create.
