BAD-GOOD-GREAT-AWESOME ?

It's simple, I want to know how feels the people here about this game (one of my favourite of all time)!

FFX is actually what made me a hardcore gamer, up untill FFX i knew games could be epic (LoZ: OoT), but i had no idea how emotionally moving games could be. FFX is definitely one of my best, and most memorable experiences as a gamer.

yup...agree with dante3. i'm a person who plays any kind of game from title a-z that could stimulates my adrenaline or maybe could just even make me awake. but this ffx is real different. it's awesome! brilliant! superb and kind of perfect game to me. what an epic game it was...one of the best i've ever played so far.

Simply put, FFX has one of the most annoying stories I've ever seen. Soap Operas come up with better stuff than this. And they're better acted.

FFX got me into games again. FFXII is still a better game, but Final Fantasy games with Nomura character designs are always more memorable for some reason.

FFX is probably the best game of the final fantasies for me, but not the best RPG I have ever played. I'd probably put it into the great category.

One incredible experience. It is not flawless, but a pack of memorable characters and a great story more than compensate it...

The characters aren't up to scratch, the love story is tacky and there is seemingly no emotion or chemistry between the two main protaganists. Lasts forever aswell. Too easy. Though the voice of Bender is in it... i guess thats a plus :P 8/10 on its release. 7/10 now

It is Awesome. I've never played a more memorable game. I played it years ago and I am still thinking about it and playing it every once in a while. Anyone who hasn't played it, should play it.

FFX is a great game w/great music, gameplay and some of the best graphics on the PS2, especially when you consider how long it's been out. The story isn't as spectacularly deep as FFVII's but it isn't as complicated either. It's a fantastic game, and as I played through it I kept wishing it could never end.

Final Fantasy X was a beautiful game, truly great, but to call it the greatest in the series is disrespectful to the true hierarchy within the pantheon of Final Fantasy. That being: ____________________________________________Final Fantasy VII________________ ____________________________________________Final Fantasy VI ________________ __________________________________Final Fantasy VIII Final Fantasy IX________ ____________________________________________Final Fantasy IV________________ ___________________________ Final Fantasy III Final Fantasy V Final Fantasy X ___________________________Final Fantasy I Final Fantasy II Final Fantasy XII Final Fantasy X is a great Final Fantasy but has its flaws such as the annoying grid system. Final Fantasy XII is also a great game, but it was just not up to par with the greatest in the series. I think this is because SquareEnix was trying many new ideas in this edition which need to be refined before it can achieve the greatness of games placed higher in the hierarchy. Why isn't XI in the hierarchy you ask. Well, I consider it to be more of a Final Fantasy themed online experience. I think of it more as Final Fantasy Online than Final Fantasy XI.

I try to refrain from using "awesome" too much, but I guess among those rankings, that's where I'd have to put it. FFX remains one of the top 2 or 3 traditional turn-based RPGs for the PS2, and the top choice for most mainstream and casual gamers.

its good... if u like your main chracter to look/sound/act/talk like a 9 year old girl.... Really i could't even get into the story b/c i could't get over the fact that i was playing as a 9 year old girl...

Great game! Good history, graphics, sound and cast. Well is a Final Fantasy! But skip the optional things (ultimate weapons mostly)! Its my opinion, but i think that things is too boring! And you don't even need them to beat the game easily!

I agree. The only good thing of FFX was it's graphics. But the story was just too lame (worst of all FF games). FF7 still has the best story in the FF series.

From what I've understood he said a different thing: Tidus's voice acting sucked badly....(really some 9 years girl "look" like Tidus? Lol, on Halloween maybe :) )

Awesome is right.FFX to me is the best rpg I've played and I have played quite a few of them.I found the story to be full of emotion and the characters,Tidus aside, to be very likable. Maybe the best ps2 game ever.

Best game i have ever played. Honestly, up until FFX i didn't know a game could be so enjoyable, its got the best storyline and action i've ever seen in a game yet.

simply Awesome.  Its scale might not feel as grand as the current games, theres not much of those gigantic world exploring things as you see in recent games, but back in a few years it was stunning.  Really strongly developed characters, moving story, and a very popular gameplay system.  And the art direction in total was just unbelievably beautiful.

at first, while i was playing and after i finished it, i was thinking it was just a common good game. but when i look back, i think it was a great game. though i didnt like tidus much, still it was not so bad. game system is also was nice. i dont know exactly how to say but, it was great i think. it should not have to be the best,(for me FFVIII is the best because the flow of the game and the characters' both characteristics and appearance were something i was really living in real, also musics were fascinating, gameplay was easy, with cool moves, and the graphics were the bests of its time ) but still its a game that you should play if you really like these kind of games.

It is good, and was a nice breath of fresh air after playing VIII and IX. Technolically speaking, it still looks and sounds impressive. I am just disappointed with the follow up, FFX-2. That game was so bad in my opinion, that it actually took points away form FFX.

i think that FFXII is actually thw worst final fantasy EVER!!!! it's like just controlling one hero and you have no control on the other members because your busy on only one..bad gameplay..where's the ff7 thrill????? worst move made by square..1st dirge of cerberus and now FFXII..waht an upset........=\
